The data collected from this short survey will help us better serve the needs of adult students attending classes online.

This 14-week asynchronous, online course reviews the foundations essential for safe and effective caregiving. The functions and responsibilities of a caregiver will be explored along with medical, cognitive, social, spiritual, and emotional needs of those requiring care. Content includes psychological and physiological aspects of aging as well as common disease processes. An emphasis on safety for both the caregiver and in the environment will be discussed. The roles and responsiblities of the caregiver as provider, care coordinator and advocate will be analyzed as well as cultural considerations. This class is intended for anyone already providing care formally or informally or interested in the healthcare professions. Class starts October 19, 2020. Annually Celebrated September 17th

Beaumont Adult School will be offering online day and evening classes with online registration beginning next week, August 17th. Placement testing will be done on campus in small groups following registration. Check here for more information in the next few days!

Staff have returned to campus and are answering phone calls, please call with questions in order to limit the number of people on campus. All walk-in visitors MUST wear a mask and may be asked to wait briefly before entering the office. Summer hours are 8:00 am - 3:00 pm, M-F.

Hello BAS Students! MSJC, our partner community college, has compiled an outstanding list of resources for adult students, including online instructional sites to enhance learning during the closure.

All BUSD schools are closed from March 16 - June 19, 2020 by order of the Riverside County Health Officer as a precautionary measure to limit the spread of COVID-19. Please keep checking the district website for updated information. If you were scheduled to start a class during this time or register for a class, it will be rescheduled after June 19, 2020. Current students have been sent an email about the closure.
