  1. Is there any cost to register for classes?
    Most of our programs are offered at no cost, including all General Education courses (HiSET Preparation, High School Diploma, Adult Basic Education, English Language & Civics classes (ESL beginning through advanced, U.S. Citizenship Preparation, and Pre-Nursing/Intro to VN). For our specialized healthcare programs, Medical Assistant is tuition-free, though the selected students will have out-of-pocket expenses that we will detail prior to enrollment. Vocational Nursing requires tuition, but applying to the program is completely free.
  2. Can I apply online?
    To register for General Education classes, submit the registration form and schedule a CASAS assessment directly through the links on our Registration webpage. For Pre-Nursing and Vocational Nursing, please visit their respective program webpages for detailed instructions on how to apply online.

  3. Do I need transcripts for the high school diploma class? 
    High School Diploma: Official, sealed transcripts from all high schools attended are required. You can request these directly from your former school/district or order them through Parchment.com (service fees apply). High School Equivalency (Hiset or GED) Preparation: No transcripts are required.

  4. What is the CASAS test, and why is it required?
    All new General Education students must take the CASAS test. Your reading comprehension and math scores help us place you in the correct starting class. To track your progress, you will retake the test after completing 40 hours of instruction.
